We are searching for a Software Developer to join our team and help us deliver lasting solutions for our clients in the automotive sector. You will work remotely from Romania, with potential for on-site relocation to client premises after 6-12 months.

Role
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to develop, implement, and maintain software systems that meet their unique needs. This position will initially be remote, with the potential to relocate to client premises after 6-12 months. Your unique technical skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and commitment to customer satisfaction will contribute to our ongoing success.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their software requirements and provide technical solutions
- Develop, implement, and manage software programs tailored to our clients' needs in the automotive industry
- Test and evaluate new programs
- Identify areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently develop these modifications
- Write and implement efficient code
- Maintain and upgrade existing systems
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software
- Provide comprehensive support and technical advice to clients as required.
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients, ensuring software solutions meet their expectations.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on project status.
- Adhere to coding standards and best practices in software development.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in software development, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as C, C++, and scripting languages.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies.
Soft skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to think critically and creatively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to work remotely and potentially relocate to client premises after 6-12 months.
- Strong understanding of the automotive industry is a plus.
Working conditions
- This role is fully remote, with the potential for relocation to client sites after 6-12 months.
- Regular online meetings with clients and team members will be required.
