We are currently looking for enthusiastic professionals with experience in software quality management to support our clients. The role is primarily for freelancers looking to work on dynamic projects, but employment can also be arranged. You will work remotely from Romania with occasional international travel for client visits.

We are currently expanding and require an experienced Software Quality Engineer to work directly with our clients.
Role
In this role you will monitor and improve process compliance, manage suppliers, ensure industry standards are met and effectively manage your day to day responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Evaluate projects for compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Advise clients on process improvements.
Monitor customer/supplier quality with monthly KPIs.
Review documents for compliance with industry benchmarks.
Verify adherence to deadlines and quality policies.
Identify non-conformances, conduct reviews, and initiate corrective actions.
Work directly with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve their quality management practices.
Respond to daily tasks and new work assignments.
Create and implement quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements.
Train and instruct employees and customers on quality control measures and best practices.
Qualifications
Master's Degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
Advanced level of English (written and spoken), at least intermediate level of German.
Proven experience in quality management or a similar role, preferably in a consulting capacity; experience of embedded software is an advantage.
Good understanding of quality management systems and standards.
Software engineering experience in a regulated industry, e.g. automotive, aerospace, medical, etc.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and customer service skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
Good Microsoft Office skills.
Desirable skills
Experience using Polarion or similar ALM tools.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint.
Knowledge and background in standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, IATF 16949. Certification in one of these would be an advantage.
