Software Developer - Integration and Test (m/f/d)

We are currently seeking in Romania an experienced Software Developer - Integration and Test to work directly with our clients in Germany. This is a full-time freelance role with an initial three-month contract. The role is ideal for professionals interested in combining software development, integration and testing for automotive ECUs. German language skills and EU citizenship are essential.

Role

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to perform software integration and testing activities, ensuring full compliance with ASPICE processes SWE.3, SWE.4 and SWE.5.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement software integration and test strategies in accordance with ASPICE processes (SWE.3, SWE.4 and SWE.5).
• Perform software integration tasks, including configuration and verification of software components to ensure seamless integration.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases to validate software performance and compliance with requirements.
• Analyse, debug and resolve integration and test issues to ensure software quality and functionality.
• Improve the engineering processes and tool chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in software development.
• Proficiency in ASPICE SWE.3 / SWE.4 / SWE.5 processes.
• Experience in automotive software development and embedded software would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in C, C++, modern ALM tools such as Codebeamer.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Advanced level of English and German (both written and spoken).
• ISTQB certification would be advantageous.
• ASPICE Provisional Assessor certification would be advantageous.
